Absences are the evidenceDenuncia del crecimiento del feminicidio.
Absences are the evidence is a project by Costa Rica artist Susana Sánchez Carballo denouncing the increase in feminicides.
The project aims to demonstrate how, in a solidarity-lacking society, women become invisibilised and excluded and, deprived of the most basic protection against violence, they end up as victims of misogynist hate crimes. It consists of public space interventions that generate direct interactions with passers by.
