'Because there is a story that is not in the history and can only be rescued by listening to the whisper of women.'

Rosa Montero)

Listening to the whisper of women presents a group of creators of different nationalities choosing as a context their photographic contribution, enriched in some cases with installation and drawing.

Ana DMatos (Lugo, Spain, 1963) presents 'Formas de Paraíso', a body of work in between drawing, installation and embroidery, whose theme orbits around desire and eroticism. On the one hand, ' Paradisaeidae,' drawings that essentially depict a bird, a subject and a background of black fabric that the author sewed on a paper drawing the shapes in the cut holes. With the waste generated from arms, feet, heads, spikes, she made another series, Palimpsesto, through which he explored the relationship of forms and words. The phrases that appear in these works are fragments of a poem by Biel Mesquida inspired by this work.

FLORE (France, 1963) presents a collection of images following her journey from Saïgon to Sadec, from the rivers of the Mékong to the rice fields of southern Cochinchina. Some of which recreate the youth in Indochina of Marguerite Duras. The framed with lead wire and museum glass is also a handmade realization of the photographer of Spanish origin, who lives and works in Paris.

The American artist Jennifer B. Thoreson (Boston, 1979) focuses her work on artistic and meticulously styled environments. Starting from her inspiration in topics such as feminism, social work or the study of personal relationships, Thoreson becomes an emotional illustrator of the human heart. With an innate ability to probe the past, she treats the forgotten part as a subject and brings her inventions to life with an aura of subtle inspiration that comes from her education in a spiritual and conservative home in rural Texas.

The photographs of Ma Casanova show us the pleasure and beauty of everyday life, of everything that defines us as human beings. Her images confront us, paraphrasing Nerea Ubieto, 'at moments full of beauty simply because they are our own: the spontaneous expression of love, tranquility and concentration we experience when reading a book, enjoyment when contemplating a landscape, the naturalness with which we live our family moments. They also turn us into accomplices of anonymous stories, which although they are not a reflection of dream happiness, they belong to us.'

Most of the projects carried out up to now by Lola Guerrera (Córdoba, 1982) could be described as ephemeral. In this exhibition we present a large format photograph awarded with the AENA Prize in 2014. It is a sculptural recreation created, as it happens in almost all her photographs, only for the time of the photographic shooting, being destroyed later, in a recreation of the Mementos Moris rescued from art history and those authors who, like her, experienced the need to feel the ephemeral in their creative process.

Tatiana Parcero (Mexico City, 1967) presents two photographs of her series 'Interior cartographies'  inspired by her own biography and personal rites based on everyday experiences, exploring sensations and emotions that, even if they are intimate or individual, are included in one more general genre: the feminine, the human. With this idea, the artist moves from the particular to the general. Her experience is transformed into a reflection that other women or human beings can live.

Each photograph, audio or video of the Argentine artist, based in Mallorca, Veru Iché (Buenos Aires, 1972), is the result of a performance hidden from the public that tries to communicate from fragmentation and not from a finished result. Each silence or empty space represents a creation, a moment of freedom, originated by performative guidelines that Iché transmits to the interpreters who are going to execute them, reenacting them repeatedly until they are led to certain states, sensations, body languages, emotions that  transform into photographs, videos and installations.
