This exhibition established a dialogue between a selection of works by Margaret Harrisson (1940, Wakefield, United Kingdom), María María Acha-Kutscher (1968, Lima, Peru) and Núria Güell (1981, Vidreres, España), three artists from different nationalities and generations, with remarkable and specific artistic practices, but in which we find similar approaches and interests.

Starting from their clear feminist positions, their work attacks the hegemonic narratives of power, denouncing the violence exerted against women and other subordinate subjects. Some of their works also show an interest in analyzing and critically evaluating visual stereotypes, the DEVICE and conventions of the gaze and the representation of some subjects in art history.

With an independent and confrontational attitude, this three artists share the willingness to influence social reality and transform it. They understand art as a possible tool for activism.
