The 1st International Conference Atenea is an open meeting space for the promotion and visibility of women in art and tech, as well as professionals and students from creative and technical fields. Our main objective is the creation of collaborative networks between women from different creative professional areas.

Atenea is an initiative born in Valencia with international projection. It works as a network of collaboration for and among women, artists and technologists. It is a transversal, interdisciplinary and collaborative project, with educational, artistic and social purposes. Atenea’s team and network is formed by academics, researchers, teachers and artists of different disciplines and profiles, belonging to different international institutions.

The event consists of an exhibition, concerts, screenings, chat rooms, workshops and six round tables, topics related to women in the digital and electronic arts; creative technology; audiovisual production and film projects; web design and digital communication; performing arts, electroacoustic music and associationism.
