5 projects selected by a group of six professionals have MAV’s production support of up to 3,000 euros each.
The workgroup in charge of project evaluation comprises Tania Pardo, Head of Exhibitions at La Casa Encendida; Manuel Segade, Director of Centro de Arte 2 de Mayo -CA2M-; María Jesús Abad, Visual Arts professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and Joana Baygual, artist and curator, both representing MAV Board; as well as Erika Bornay, writer and researcher, along with Ana Revilla, cultural manager and curator, members of MAV selected by drawing lots.
The call for proposals is open to artists, curators, researchers and collectives from any nationality, and whose approach respects a code of fair practice in terms of remuneration, copyright issues, a 60% presence of women in the team, and also those working in a collaborative network structure.
Institutions or any organization engaged in the selling of art works are expressly excluded from this call for proposals.
